Derek & Emily

09/23/2008

This past Saturday we were honored to photograph Emily & Derek’s wedding in Marietta, GA. Emily is one of 4 sisters so it was an exciting day since she is the first to go down the aisle. Along with her sisters, friends were also at hand to help get ready and share a laugh or two. Afterwards we headed to Kingdom Hall where we met up with Derek and his groomsmen. Let me tell you, Derek was surrounded with a bunch of characters but they are such great friends to have all traveled from all over to support him on this special occasion. Emily looked stunning in her strapless ball gown as she walked down the aisle and Derek looked sharp in his pinstripe suite. After the ceremony, the wedding party headed out to Marietta Square for a few fun shots and was on our way to the Marriott Hotel to continue the festivities. Kudos to Jerry & Surline and Vincent & Lori for such an entertaining entrance! You Rock! It was truly a fun filled party with lots of laughter and dancing. Congrats Emily & Derek!

Ana + Steve

09/09/2008

This past Saturday I met Anna & Steve at Gresham Mill in Canton, GA. This location was once a settlement for Cherokee Indian and later into a gold mine in the 1830s; it was later rebuilt in 1878. Let me begin by telling you how awesome it was to photograph this couple. They claimed that they didn’t know what to do but they were so natural that I barely had to say anything to them, which made the shoot fun and easy. Anna & Steve also have great personality to complimented each other, Anna is a caring free spirit and up for anything while Steve is reserve and attentive. Thanks guys for such a wonderful photo shoot. We’ll see you in November!

Emily & Derek

09/01/2008

Last Wednesday & Thursday I photographed Emily & Derek for their engagement shoot at the Bob Callan Trail and Atlantic Station. The trail is a little gem hidden within the city of Atlanta, I would not have found it. Lucky for us the weather was on our side Wednesday evening as we walked the trail. It was a great location for they’re laid back personality. Emily & Derek are so sweet and really complimented each other. The following day we headed to Atlantic Station where we photograph the spot where they first met and where they had their first date. Emily & Derek sure kept me entertained when they shared their stories of how they met and how Derek proposed. Thanks guys for being such a trooper on the shoot, especially Derek. You two did a great job and can’t wait for the wedding day! Emily, you are going make such a beautiful bride!
